Members own or sponsor a garden that features its own local biodiversity in the form of garden parcels and/or natural habitats. Within their respective countries or regions, network members are identified by a symbolic plant species referred to as the “flagship plant.” For example, The Herboretum in Saint-Ay is identified by the creeping cinquefoil.
Members warrant that they have read and understood the by-laws of The Herboretum Association and undertake to uphold the principles set forth in the Charter of The Herboretum Network and fulfil all membership requirements. Members shall contribute to the financing of the Network by paying annual dues. They shall receive a written confirmation upon receipt of their dues.
The membership period is one (1) year. Upon expiration of the initial membership term, membership is renewed automatically for successive one-year periods.
