The Herboretum looking for new sponsors to achieve its many projects of general interest:
- 2011 Programme of events
The United Nations has named 2011 international
year of the forest and bats. The Herboretum is
participating in this programme and will be holding
events dedicated to these two themes this year. The
season will kick off on 27 March 2011.
- A fragrant garden
This garden will be situated at the entrance, in the
welcome courtyard, to create a truly welcoming
space for the public. Its purpose will be to introduce
visitors to biodiversity by using the 5 senses
and encourage them to spend time here, where the
pleasure of beauty is a source of wonder. It will consist
of beautiful plants, of every colour, every scent and
every shape, including many scented plants.
- Soon a Herboretum Federation
This network of Herboretums will ensure that in each country, a garden of local biodiversity is constituted so as to provide researchers a place of discovery and study in order to pool the scientific knowledge through a network of specialists in the vegetal world: botanists, ethno-botanists, pharmacologists, agronomists, etc. so as to provide a simple interface between supply and demand. Soon more information about financing!

The sponsorship
Sponsorship is material support (financial, technological,
in kind or in skills) provided to a project in
order for it to perform activities of general interest
(culture, solidarity, environment) without expecting
any direct return from the beneficiary.
If the beneficiary is eligible for deductible sponsorship,
the donation entitles the donors (companies
and individuals) to certain tax benefits. In the
context of sponsorships, donor companies can also
now benefit from certain returns in terms of communication
and public relations, the value of which
must however be “significantly disproportionate” to
the amount of the donation. For sponsorship provided
by individuals, the returns are strictly limited and
symbolic.
The patronage
Patronage is a commercial activity that consists of
supporting some or all of an event in exchange for
promotional benefits.
Its benefits are the following:
A real promotion tool. Patronage allows the company to promote itself, its brand and/or its products
during events of various kinds (occasional,
regular, exceptional, etc.).
Tax savings. The amount paid for patronage
purposes is deductible from the taxable profit of companies.

The association has already obtained the support of
the Alban Muller Group, a company that is particularly
sensitive to the need to protect biodiversity.

Filtrants®, monitoring of the carbon balance of its
production site...)
- Research & Development (10% of its turnover is
dedicated to research on “green intelligence”)

comes from regional and French crops).
