The Environment Charter (June 2003)

Inserted into the preamble of the French Constitution at the same title than the Man Declaration of Rights, the Environment Charter (June 2003) creates a new generation of rights and duties towards Nature and the future generations.

‘Each and every person has the duty to take part to the environment preservation and improvement’ .
(Article 2)

In this context, The Herboretum adheres to these values and wants to maintain a spirit of ‘shared biodiversity’ so that everyone may make it his own and understands the importance it has in his day-to-day life.
