The participative science
The Herboretum involved in monitoring the evolution of biodiversity on its area of 9 hectares. Scientists are on site regularly to carry out inventories.

Our 5 strategic axis
Participating
Privileged observation site, the Herboretum contributes to the building up of knowledge and cooperates to a “participative” and “predictive” science.
From description to knowledge, from knowledge to anticipation, observation becomes a means to predict the consequences on biodiversity of the various perturbations, particularly the global warming.
Place for eco-meetings, the Herboretum welcomes all over the year experts of the private and public sectors (botanists, zoologists, ecologists, etc…) and has established a close connection with the naturalist associations in order to develop pluridisciplinary exchanges in order to better come to grip with biodiversity in its globality.
